for three voices — the “three wise monkeys” (see/hear/speak no evil)

Performed by Jennifer Gliere (Voice), Heather O'Donovan (Voice), Joanna Mieleszko (Voice)

The three wise monkeys are a Japanese pictorial maxim, embodying the proverbial principle “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”. For me this symbol represents the desire to achieve inner and outer states of harmony. All three voices are considered to be a unified sound-stream with periodical highlighting of the musical sounds, phrases, motives.
