IHOR ZAVHORODNII is an active composer and performer. His music has been performed at numerous festivals including "Golfstream" (Kyiv), "Two days and two nights of new music" (Odesa), "ORF musikprotokoll 2021" (Graz), "Gaudeamus festival 2022" (Utrecht), "Klangwerkstatt Berlin" (Berlin, Germany), and "DOWN TO EARTH Festival 2025" (New York, USA).
Since 2015, has been an artist of the Ukho Ensemble, New Era Orchestra, and the Open Opera project. He is the violinist of the Danapris String Quartet. Since 2020, he has been cooperating with the modern opera laboratory "Opera Aperta", In particular, he participated in the creation of the project Chornobyldorf. Archaeological opera as a musician-multi-instrumentalist (viola, morin khuur, shakuhati), performer, actor and vocalist. From 2018 to 2023, he was a violin teacher at the R. Gliere Kyiv Institute of Music. Since 2022, he has been a member of NotaBene Chamber Group, and a soloist of the National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine.
As a soloist and chamber musician, he has toured Austria, Bulgaria, China, Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Switzerland, and Japan. He has performed numerous premieres of works by Ukrainian and foreign composers, some of which were recorded with the National Radio of Ukraine, published by the labels Winter & Winter, KAIROS, Naxos.
